Zum Schutz der eigenen Bauern hat Polen die Einfuhr von Getreide und anderen Nahrungsmitteln aus der Ukraine ausgesetzt. Führende Wirtschaftsverbände haben scharfe Kritik an einem Gesetzesentwurf der Ampel-Regierung zur Digitalisierung der öffentlichen Verwaltung geübt. Deutlich mehr Holz zur Energiegewinnung eingeschlagen
Holz spielt als Energieträger eine immer wichtigere Rolle: 13,8 Millionen Kubikmeter wurden im vergangenen Jahr zur Energiegewinnung gefällt, das waren 17,3 Prozent mehr als noch 2021, wie das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden am Freitag mitteilte. Die Menge war demnach fast 32 Prozent höher als im zehnjährigen Durchschnitt zwischen 2012 und 2021 - und erreichte den höchsten Wert seit der deutschen Vereinigung.

Airlines müssen bei Verspätungen oder Annullierungen von Flügen nach Auffassung des Amtsgerichts Hannover keine Kosten für alkoholische Getränke erstatten. Diese seien keine "Erfrischung" im Sinne der Flugastrechteverordnung, befand das Gericht in einem am Freitag veröffentlichten Urteil. Boeing kann einige Modelle der 737 MAX nicht rechtzeitig ausliefern
Der US-Flugzeugbauer Boeing hat erneut Probleme mit seinem Verkaufsschlager, der 737 MAX. Die Auslieferung einiger Modelle sei vorübergehend gestört, Grund seien Mängel bei Teilen des Zulieferers Spirit Aerosystems, teilte Boeing am Donnerstag mit. Das Unternehmen beliefert den Konzern mit Flugzeugrümpfen. Boeing und Spirit Aerosystems betonten beide, die Mängel stellten kein Sicherheitsrisiko dar.
Großhandelspreise im März nur noch um 2,0 Prozent gestiegen
Die Preise im Großhandel sind im März weiter gestiegen - sie legten aber nur noch um 2,0 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat zu. Das war die niedrigste Veränderungsrate seit Januar 2021, wie das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden am Freitag mitteilte. Im Vergleich zum Vormonat Februar kletterten die Großhandelspreise demnach um 0,2 Prozent.

Der Anstieg der Erzeugerpreise für landwirtschaftliche Produkte hat sich im Februar den fünften Monat in Folge abgeschwächt. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat stiegen die Preise um 20,4 Prozent, wie das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden am Freitag mitteilte. Im Januar hatte die Veränderungsrate bei 25,2 Prozent gelegen und im Dezember bei 29,8 Prozent. Im Monatsvergleich fielen die Erzeugerpreise: von Januar auf Februar um 0,7 Prozent.

Die Bundesregierung hat die Lieferung von fünf MiG-29-Kampfjets durch Polen an die Ukraine genehmigt. Immer mehr Menschen wenden sich wegen Problemen bei Bauvorhaben an Verbraucherschützer. "Die Zinsen steigen, die Baukosten explodieren und der Materialmangel führt zu Verzögerungen am Bau", erklärte die Verbraucherzentrale Rheinland-Pfalz am Donnerstag. "Viele Bauinteressierte sind dadurch verunsichert und wenden sich an die Bauberatung."

In der Debatte um den Mindestlohn fordert der Sozialverband VdK zur Vermeidung von Altersarmut einen Anstieg auf 14 Euro."Der Mindestlohn muss auf 14 Euro steigen, damit spätere Rentnerinnen und Rentner nicht auf staatliche Hilfen angewiesen sind", erklärte VdK-Präsidentin Verena Bentele am Donnerstag. Das Geschäftsklima im deutschen Mittelstand ist im März deutlich gestiegen. Wie die Förderbank KfW am Mittwoch mitteilte, lag das gemeinsam mit dem Ifo-Institut erstellte Mittelstandsbarometer zuletzt bei minus 3,2 Punkten, das war ein Anstieg um 4,9 Zähler. Dabei verbesserten sich beide Komponenten des Barometers deutlich, sowohl die Geschäftserwartungen als auch die Beurteilung der Lage.

Die Inflation in den USA ist im März auf fünf Prozent im Jahresvergleich zurückgegangen. Das war der niedrigste Anstieg der Verbraucherpreise seit Mai 2021, wie aus am Mittwoch veröffentlichten Zahlen der Statistikbehörde des Landes hervorgeht. Im Februar hatte die Inflation im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat noch bei sechs Prozent gelegen. Verglichen mit dem Vormonat Februar stiegen die Preise im März um 0,1 Prozent an.
